The SPYPOINT FLEX-S reliably delivers rich photos and video with sound directly to the SPYPOINT app and features a solar panel with an integrated lithium battery that enables Instant Mode and on-demand requests. Rain or shine, keep your camera working by installing 8 AA batteries or a LIT-22 rechargeable lithium battery pack (NOT INCLUDED) as back up. With true dual-sim technology, the FLEX-S comes pre-loaded with two preactivated SIM cards that ensure cross-carrier coverage on all major cellular networks and continuous connectivity to the best coverage in the area. Set up is simple with mobile activation and on-camera buttons that allow you to format the microSD card (NOT INCLUDED) and take a test photo.

FOUR CAPTURE MODES: The FLEX-S offers four capture modes: Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, and Time-Lapse+. The Time-Lapse function takes photos at your preferred interval. The Time-Lapse+ function takes photos at your preferred interval and when the camera’s detection sensor is triggered, perfect for monitoring large areas beyond the camera’s detection range.

INSTANT MODE AND ON-DEMAND REQUESTS: The FLEX-S features Instant Mode, which allows users to change settings and request on-demand or high-definition photos and videos instantly via the SPYPOINT app.

RESPONSIVE TRIGGER: The responsive trigger optimizes the camera’s settings to the exact conditions at the time of the photo to deliver the best quality image, every time.

CONSTANT CAPTURE TECHNOLOGY: the FLEX-S can send and capture simultaneously, so you won’t miss a minute of action in the field.

SETTING UP YOUR FLEX-S CELLULAR TRAIL CAMERA

Charge the internal battery and activate the camera

While the camera is off, plug the 12Vdc connector (charging cable) to the camera. The status light will illuminate red while charging and turn off when fully charged. It is recommended to charge the battery fully (approximately 12 hours).

Create an account on SPYPOINT.com, download the SPYPOINT app, then log in and add your camera.

Set up the camera

Screw in the antenna, then insert the memory card and external batteries (SOLD SEPARATELY).

Format the microSD card (SOLD SEPARATELY) and take a TEST photo

Turn the camera on. Immediately hold down the format button until the FORMAT LED blinks green. Format is complete when LED stops blinking.

Press the TEST button to receive a photo.

Turn your camera off until you’re ready to install it in field.

Install the camera

Choose a location where the solar panel will receive at least 4 hours of direct sunlight.

Use the installation strap (included) and select North or South facing orientation for best results.

Adjust the height of the camera, aiming for the subject’s mid-body.

Avoid leaves, branches or tall grass in front of the camera as this can trigger motion detection resulting in blank photos.

TROUBLESHOOTING

My camera doesn’t turn on.

1. Check to ensure the internal battery is fully charged.

2. Slide the power switch to the OFF position and then back to the ON position.

My camera doesn’t have good service.

1. Ensure the antenna is properly attached to the camera.

2. Move the camera to a different location.

What factors can affect the autonomy of my camera?

1. The camera settings (capture mode, sensitivity).

2. The sync frequency and use of on-demand features.

3. The camera location and orientation, as well as environmental considerations such as climate.
